Creative Thinking Techniques

Here Are Four Creative Thinking Techniques I've learnt This Year.

  • Mind Mapping: The key to mind mapping is to take note of every idea that comes up. Don’t neglect anything, no matter how far-fetched it may seem.
  • The Checklist: Why, Where, When, Who, What, How, ask yourself these question every time you create content, and chances are you’ll come up with some pretty interesting answers.
  • Six Thinking Hats:
White Hat – Facts
Red Hat – Emotions
Black Hat – Judgement, Caution
Yellow Hat – Logic
Green Hat – Creativity
Blue Hat – Control

  • Lateral Thinking: this involves looking at your situation in a different way. The simplest answer is not always right.

One of the most Influential people of her time Maya Angelou believed that creativity can not be used up but the more you use it the more you have

Creativity Is Part Of Culture

Creativity plays a vital roll in different cultures around the world for example it can used to preserve cultural beliefs, cultural events and cultural artistic work.

Here an example below of a  Sancai glazed ceramic horse from the Tang Dynasty of China in the seventh and eighth century

Creativity At The Work place

Renew your Creative Energy with a Clean Sweep

When you handle things that are incomplete or situations you are tolerating, you have more time, energy, and motivation to achieve your personal and professional goals. The objective of the program is for the participant to get clear of about 100 possible unresolved matters in their life. Unresolved matters are those physical, emotional or mental items, which are in some way not resolved in the current moment. Unresolved matters of any kind drain energy. That is, they require energy to live with, given it takes work to keep us whole when there is something in the space. To have full integrity (like a complete circle) is normal; the program gives one a way to get there in a natural way.

Creativity can be found everywhere and anywhere

Creativity is not just found in the art field or where artist of are found only. Creativity can be found everywhere, politics, science, sports and other fields. (Arts & Humanities)

Introduction

What is creativity to me?

When always asked, what is creativity? The normal response you would give is the dictionary meaning which is, "the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination. Not to say that answer is wrong, I see creativity to be so much more then what is said above.

To me Creativity is:

  • It means taking risks and ignoring doubt and facing fears.
  • It means breaking your routine and doing something different for the sake of doing something different.
  • Being creative means searching for inspiration in even the most mundane places.
  • It means you asking stupid questions.
  • Being creative means you know how to find similarities and differences between two completely random ideas.
